Email Marketing Manager
Amanda graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2015 with degrees in Non-Profit Leadership and Spanish. After graduating, she spent four years in non-profit marketing work, learning the ins and outs of email strategy and development. Amanda’s goal is to send emails that generate results by finding new and creative ways to surprise and delight in the inbox.
What are your main responsibilities at work?
Anything and everything in the realm of email! From campaign strategy and list management to creating emails and reporting results, it is my job to see emails through from start to finish.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
Getting to know clients and learning how they got started—meeting a new client is like a mini episode of How I Built This!
If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be?
The soundtrack of In the Heights.
Are you a night owl or morning person?
Morning person. There is something magical about being up when it feels like the world is still asleep.
Favorite holiday and why?
St. Patrick’s Day has always been a big deal in my family. My parents throw an awesome party and it is an ideal opportunity to break out the green nail polish.
Dogs or cats?
I can barely keep a succulent alive.
How would your third-grade teacher describe you?
There are few students that love school as much as she does. Also, she wears a lot of different colored overalls.

If you had an extra hour in the day, how would you spend it?
Writing letters & cards. I love snail mail, I always wish I had time to write more surprise notes.
How would you describe your perfect Sunday?
Perfect Sundays start with early church, followed by brunch and a crossword with my husband on the porch, a really solid couch nap, and a Buffalo Bills victory.
