With an undergraduate degree from Marquette University in Sociology and Public Relations, Beth’s background showcases how people understand and respond in the digital arena. Previously, she worked for a Chicago-based hotel chain and activated the property’s social media channels and experienced growth and success in engagement and following.
What are your main responsibilities at work?
I am responsible for the continued improvement of the experience for our team and our clients. I want our clients to love working with RyTech and I want our team to love working at RyTech. We are constantly striving to improve our processes and communication to help everything go as smoothly as possible in all aspects of the business.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
Finally spending time on initiatives that we’ve been talking about for years. When we can automate or simplify one of our processes, I consider that a big win! Keeping our clients and our team happy is a big part of my job – what’s more fun than that?!
If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be?
It’s a tie between two movie soundtracks: The Holiday and The Lizzie McGuire Movie. Both so good!
Are you a night owl or morning person?
I am most productive at night in the quiet.
Favorite holiday and why?
The whole Christmas season. So much fun leading up to and around the whole holiday. So much magic in the air!
Dogs or cats?
Fish?
How would your third-grade teacher describe you?
I was the teacher’s helper and loved it. I also tried changing my name to Lizzy, but no one in the class knew who that was when I wrote it on the top of my papers, so I switched back to Beth.
What’s your favorite famous or inspirational quote?
“What lies behind you and what lies in front of you, pales in comparison to what lies inside of you.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
If you had an extra hour in the day, how would you spend it?
I would spend an extra hour on some me time: reading, taking a walk, shopping, pampering… any of the above!
How would you describe your perfect Sunday?
Sleeping in a little bit, church (with my kids actually sitting still), going out to lunch, family time outside, and watching sports on TV.
